About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a key member of our Medium Secure Service, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing the management of patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a full MDT and shape services further through strategic decision-making and improvement projects
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other wards and clinical teams to ensure seamless pathways and meet patients' needs
  • Contribute to the development of specialist interests and grow remit and responsibilities
  • Participate in national leadership and influence the future direction of services
About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Requirements

Applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and hold a CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, or General Adult Psychiatry.
