About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Senior Forensic Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and treatment to patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and oversee the management of patients with often complex needs.
  • Develop and deliver up-to-date treatments, and work in a supportive environment.
  • Have the autonomy to make decisions that will help improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Be part of a community of over 30 Consultants and 8 Clinical Directors on one site.
  • Have opportunities to progress into roles such as Medical Director, Clinical Director, Associate Director of Medical Education, Chief Quality Officer, Lead Psychiatrist on the same site.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Applicants must have MRCPsych or equivalent and hold a CESR or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry.
