Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Rochester

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Release Team at BAE Systems in Rochester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, from release to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that release activity is performed efficiently and effectively
  • Producing and signing relevant release certification
  • Documenting and reporting any failures of product
  • Preparing failure reports and coordinating release activities with customers
  • Coordinating activities with internal logistics
  • Contributing proactively to improvements in quality and safety

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing background
  • Knowledge and experience of a quality/safety quality environment
  • Customer-facing experience, both internal and external, and experience interpreting standards
  • Competent IT skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent
  • Experience in Avionics
