Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the internal Quality Assurance strategy for development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting project teams with Quality Assurance tasks and activities
- Planning, conducting, and reporting Quality Assurance tasks and activities
- Leading junior members of the Quality Assurance department in conducting tasks and activities
- Engagement with management and teams on Quality System matters
Requirements:
- Experience of EN9100 (AS9100) Quality System requirements
- Proficiency in First Article Inspections to AS9102
- Quality Assurance Planning, Estimating, and Estimates to Complete
- Supplier Quality Assurance Management
- Drawing and Document Reviews and Configuration Management
- Experience in leading complex Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations
Desirable Skills:
- Awareness of the development life cycle of projects from phase 2 to phase 5
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP to AS9145
- Previous experience in electronic products
- Proficiency in compliance procedures: Systems / Safety – APR 4754 / ARP 4761

About the Quality Assurance Team:
As part of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be implementing the internal Quality Assurance strategy for development projects. This opportunity enables someone with existing Systems, Software, and Hardware development experience to gain knowledge and experience of Aerospace standards in the quality assurance role within the product development lifecycle.
