Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the internal Quality Assurance strategy for development projects, ensuring compliance with Aerospace standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting project teams with Quality Assurance tasks and activities, ensuring adherence to EN9100 (AS9100) Quality System requirements
- Planning, conducting, and reporting Quality Assurance tasks and activities, including First Article Inspections to AS9102
- Leading junior members of the Quality Assurance department in conducting tasks and activities, including Quality Assurance Planning, Estimating, and Estimates to Complete
- Engagement with project Management and Teams on Quality System matters, including Supplier Quality Assurance Management and Drawing and Document Reviews
- Leading complex Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations, ensuring effective communication and resolution
Requirements:
- Experience of EN9100 (AS9100) Quality System requirements and proficiency in First Article Inspections to AS9102
- Quality Assurance Planning, Estimating, and Estimates to Complete, including Supplier Quality Assurance Management
- Drawing and Document Reviews and Configuration Management, including experience in leading complex Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations
- Awareness of the development life cycle of projects from phase 2 to phase 5 and knowledge of APQP/PPAP to AS9145
- Previous experience in electronic products and proficiency in compliance procedures: Systems / Safety – APR 4754 / ARP 4761
