Apprentice Coordinator

Hays Human Resources is a leading recruitment agency seeking a skilled Apprentice Coordinator to join our client's team. As an Apprentice Coordinator, you will play a critical role in enhancing the Early Careers L&D remit, supporting apprentices through qualification in both learning and mentorship capacities.
About the Role- Reporting into the L&D Director, you will take ownership of the apprentice cohort, currently 50-strong and forecasted to increase by 20% YoY.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with apprentices, a degree-level education or equivalent, and strong stakeholder management skills. They will be responsible for managing apprentice levy funds, internal and external stakeholder relationships, and leading on apprentice recruitment and strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Managing apprentice levy funds and ensuring effective budget allocation
- Board-level internal stakeholder management and external partnerships
- Leading on apprentice recruitment and strategy, including attraction and hiring
- Supporting apprentices through qualifications and chartership - managing key professional training schemes
- Management of collaboration projects, social value activity, and apprentice development programs
- Supporting wider L&D responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis
- Experience working with apprentices is an essential requirement
- Degree level education or equivalent, CIPD ideal but not essential
- Strong stakeholder management and proven experience partnering with external stakeholders and training providers
- You'll have monitored the learning and development of apprentices and graduates, supporting them through their qualification
- Proven management of budgets/levy funds
- Experience planning, reporting on, and evaluating trainee reporting
- Design and delivery of learning programs and courses
- A base salary of £55-60K with generous benefits, including a hybrid working model (3 days in, 2 days remote)
