FBC UK is a leading manufacturer of biscuits in the UK, with a strong presence in the market. The company is committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the FBC UK team as a Process Operator in Edinburgh. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the biscuit manufacturing process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and maintaining the biscuit manufacturing equipment, including the rotary moulder and baking oven
- Monitoring product quality and making adjustments as necessary to meet standards and specifications
- Ensuring the correct setup and operation of the cream mixing equipment and creaming machine
- Setting up and maintaining the chocolate enrober and chocolate cooler
- Regularly monitoring product for any signs of deviation from standards/specification
- Ensuring colour standards and control sheets are checked/recorded and are correct
- Keeping the working area clean and tidy at all times
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full right to work in the UK
- Numerate and literate skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding and comfort working within a food manufacturing environment where hygiene principles are exceptionally important
