About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children's Community Support Worker to join our team at Get Out There Group in Loughborough.

As a Children's Community Support Worker, you will work with children between the ages of 5 and 17 with complex needs, providing support to promote communication skills, life skills, mobility, and access to the community.

Working 4 hours per week on Saturdays during the year, including non-term-time, you will receive £11.75 per hour.

Key responsibilities

  • Support children with complex needs, including sensory losses and learning disabilities.
  • Work with children to develop their communication skills, life skills, and mobility.
  • Provide support to access the community.
  • Attend training as needed to support you in your role.
