About the Role
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a skilled Band 5 Nurse to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children and young people in partnership with them and their families.
- Empower families to prepare for the challenges of caring for their loved ones at home.
- Support siblings and relatives during their visits to the hospice.
Requirements
- Qualified RSCN/RN (Child Branch)/RNLD/RGN with post-registration experience and relevant placement experience or pre-nurse training care experience.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate high standards of clinical care.
