Safety Engineering Lead
AWE Plc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Maintenance Safety Engineer to lead our safety engineering efforts. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of maintenance activities within our facilities.
This role requires a deep understanding of safety engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with various teams to develop and implement safety procedures, provide training and guidance to staff, and contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Evaluate and improve existing safety procedures to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
With a salary range of £47,690 - £75,370, dependent on suitability, qualifications, and level of experience, this is an attractive opportunity for professionals seeking a challenging and rewarding role. A 9-day working fortnight and flexible working options are also available.
