We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our Integrated Mental Health Service at Wokingham Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with The Health Trust and develop a dedicated social care pathway.

About the Role
  • Hold a mental health caseload, conduct assessments, provide care/recommendations and services for people who have severe and/or enduring mental health difficulties, and physical health co-morbidities
  • Produce care plans and risk management plans and ensure their effective implementation
  • Act in a supervisory role to other team members and provide supervision
  • Identify safeguarding adult and children concerns and implement safeguarding policies and processes
About You
  • Have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with HCPC
  • Have post qualification experience in mental health settings
  • Full EU driving licence and daily access to use of a car
  • Have comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights legislation
