Senior Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wokingham Borough Council's Integrated Mental Health Service. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering short-term, recovery-focused support to individuals in the community.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing care recommendations, and producing care plans to ensure effective implementation. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, social care providers, and community organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for service users.

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and post-qualification experience in mental health settings. A full EU driving licence and daily access to a car are also essential.

You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality in clinical recording and comply with all service requirements. Your comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Human Rights legislation will also be crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
