About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crisis Support Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will provide high-quality and responsive service to our clients, including the provision of accurate information and advice, signposting, and initial problem-solving at the first point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide county-wide local welfare provision that supports the most vulnerable residents at times of unavoidable crisis.
  • Work as part of a team as the single point of contact for requests for support, information, and advice and services from within the Council and other agencies.
  • Evaluate situations to identify potential risks and recognise when to seek advice.
