We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Key Responsibilities- Support the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive personalized attention and support.
- Assist in the efficient running of the ward, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Provide personal care duties, including toileting, washing, feeding, and assisting patients with mobility needs.
- Take observations on stable patients, as delegated by registered nurses, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Evidence of good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Able to work independently, following instructions from registered nurses and taking initiative when necessary.
- Effective time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from £10.50 to £12.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive:
