About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at NorseCare, a leading provider of care services in Norfolk. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents and tenants to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of care staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered to our residents and tenants.
  • Coordinate short notice staff cover, handovers, and inductions for new starters.
  • Support the Senior team with day-to-day management of staff, including recording and reporting on staff performance.
  • Set an example through your delivery of high-quality care, enabling our residents to make informed choices and supporting their independence and dignity.
  • Oversee the administration of drugs and medicines in accordance with procedures.
  • Respond to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner, providing person-centred care and support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a similar social care role.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to coach, mentor, and motivate others.
  • Able to work effectively as both an individual and part of a team.
  • Willing to go the extra mile to support our residents and tenants.
