Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Care Team Leader to support the day-to-day management of our care teams, including coordinating staff cover, handovers, and inductions for new starters. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to lead, supervise, and motivate others, and will be responsible for setting an example through their delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of care teams, including coordinating staff cover and handovers
  • Induct new starters and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Monitor and report on staff performance, including identifying areas for improvement
  • Oversee the administration of medications and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Respond to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner, providing person-centred care and support
  • Communicate effectively with other medical professionals and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a similar social care role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of our residents and tenants
