Care Team Leader Position

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at NorseCare. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents and tenants to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered to our residents and tenants.
- Coordinate short notice staff cover, handovers, inductions for new starters, and record/report staff performance as required.
- Set an example through your delivery of high-quality care, enabling our residents to make informed choices and supporting their independence and dignity in line with their care plan.
- Oversee the administration of drugs and medicines in accordance with procedures where appropriate.
- Respond to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner, providing person-centred care and support, and communicating with other medical professionals as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a similar social care role.
- Excellent communication skills, able to coach, mentor, and motivate others.
- Able to work effectively as both an individual and part of a team.
- Willing to go that extra mile.
