About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic high-quality care to children, young people, and families who access our community child and adolescent mental health services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with mental health needs and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. You will work in a pressurized environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with older adolescents transitioning between children's and adult mental health services. You will support this process by ensuring person-centered, needs-based transition that promotes resilience and recovery.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience. A strong understanding of mental health principles is essential, as is experience working with people. We welcome applicants with experience within mental health, and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels is crucial.
