Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, and families accessing our community child and adolescent mental health services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to provide emotional support and guidance to those in need. They will also be skilled in developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and support to children, young people, and families accessing our community child and adolescent mental health services
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to service users and their carers
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent working experience or willingness to undertake NVQ level 3 within 2 years
- Knowledge of mental health and ability to provide emotional support and guidance
- Experience working with children, young people, and families in a mental health setting
