Nurse Deputy Home Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in the Woodbridge area. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to nursing and care colleagues.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care to residents.
  • You will focus on residents with complex needs, ensuring that you conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance.
  • Care plan development and assessments.
  • Providing personalised centred care to all residents.

Requirements:

  • Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
  • Good clinical skills.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.
