About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Orchid Healthcare. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our residents, some of whom may suffer with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in planning and implementing care strategies to meet the needs of our residents
- Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers to deliver exceptional care
- Contribute to the smooth running of the nursing home, ensuring that all aspects of care are met
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Administrative duties, including inductions and orientations of new care staff
Requirements:
- Qualified nurse - RGN - registered with the NMC
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager role essential
- Minimum 3 years hands-on nursing experience
- Passion for elderly and dementia care
