Job Title: Deputy Home Manager

Location: Lowestoft

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a reputable nursing home in Lowestoft. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the home's frail elderly residents, some of whom may suffer with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in managing and motivating a team of nurses and carers
  • Help to ensure the smooth running of the nursing home
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care

Requirements:

  • Qualified nurse - RGN - and registered with the NMC
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Previous experience in a Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager role
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on nursing experience
  • Passion for elderly and dementia care
