Deputy Director of People and Organisational Development

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Director of People, Organisational Development and Inclusion to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and organisational development, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformational change.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to our People Directorate, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organisation. This will include:
- Developing and implementing our People Strategy, in collaboration with senior leaders
- Leading large programmes of transformational change, including workforce planning and restructuring
- Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on HR and organisational development matters
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, staff representatives, and system partners

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant experience at a senior level within a role of a similar nature, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformational change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders
