Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Director of People, Organisational Development and Inclusion to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and organisational development, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformational change.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to our People Directorate, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the organisation. This will include:

  • Developing and implementing our People Strategy, in collaboration with senior leaders
  • Leading large-scale transformational change initiatives, including organisational redesign and cultural change
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders on HR-related matters
  • Managing and developing a team of HR professionals, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to deliver high-quality services

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
  • Significant experience at a senior level within a role of a similar nature, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformational change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
