Senior Credit Control Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Duval Associates. As a key member of our credit control team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date credit administration, allocation, and processes.
- Review and analyze credit reports, and make informed decisions regarding credit limits and account status.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and depot managers, to resolve credit-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Group Credit Manager to identify and address any credit concerns or discrepancies.
- Update and maintain the AS400 system to ensure customer accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Support the department in preparing depot review lists and checking online credit limits on a monthly basis.
- Process and bank cheques received at head office as required.
- Set up customer accounts for emailed invoices with the IT department.
- Prepare and process salesman bonuses as required.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as required, including supporting the department during busy and holiday periods.
- Proven experience in credit control or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in AS400 system and other relevant software.
