Role Overview

Are you a seasoned professional looking to take your career to the next level in the transportation industry? Do you have a passion for safety leadership and operational efficiency? We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Operations Manager to join our team in Crewe.

Key Responsibilities

As a Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transport operations of our site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. This will include conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments, staying current on transportation laws and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety across transport operations.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need to have proven experience in a leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry, with a strong knowledge of transportation operations, safety regulations, and legal compliance. You must also hold an international CPC licence.

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

On a typical day, you will establish and enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, and stay current on transportation laws and regulations. You will also progress the individual personal development plans of our Transport Supervisors, ensuring they learn all developing legal requirements and grow in their roles to improve the status quo.
