Job Description

Organon is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our packaging team at our manufacturing site. In this role, you will be responsible for driving engineering best practices and delivering the department's planned preventative maintenance program. You will support the engineering manager with planned and unplanned maintenance activities based on operations priorities and coordinate resources. This involves effective communication with all stakeholders and customers to prioritize and effectively schedule work to minimize downtime and maximize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set priorities and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the engineering technicians.
  • Support the delivery of planned preventive maintenance program.
  • Drive maintenance effectiveness and maintenance strategy improvements.
  • Able to identify and prioritize multiple areas of work, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure safe work practices are always implemented and escalate any safety or quality issues immediately and effectively following site systems.
  • Deputize for area engineering manager as required.
  • Complete and oversee management of change as required.
  • Support any Safety and Quality investigations.
  • Liaise with contractors, defining scope of works and planning activities.
  • Facilitate timely remediation of equipment issues and drive effective root cause analysis.
Requirements:
  • Relevant industry experience including cGMP knowledge.
  • CMMS familiarity, SAP experience advantageous.
  • Ability to analyze data, prioritize work, and labor resources based on priorities.
  • Technical writing skills for investigations, reports, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively organize and plan work to meet set priorities and deadlines.
  • Leadership, integrity, resilience, flexible to current and new situations.
