We are looking for a Technical Maintenance Specialist to deliver vital maintenance services to our esteemed client's manufacturing division, ensuring that machinery and facility systems are maintained in peak operational condition. This position is essential for reducing equipment downtime by promptly addressing malfunctions and executing preventive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) standards by engaging in training and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, including machinery upkeep to OEM specifications and documenting all work performed.
  • Respond to equipment failures using effective troubleshooting methods, prioritizing issues and engineering solutions for recurring challenges.
  • Lead or contribute to site improvement projects while adhering to budgetary limits.
  • Operate within established quality standards and systems, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Exhibit adaptability and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in the training and development of apprentices and colleagues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
  • Certification in 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with AC/DC motors, drives, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Office software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities and capability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Self-driven with the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Shift Patterns:

  • 36.5 hours per week
  • 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday – Wednesday
  • 6am - 1pm / 1pm - 8pm Thursday
  • 6am - 11:35am / 11:35am - 5.15pm Friday
