Head of Spatial Data Management

Open Spaces is seeking an accomplished Head of Spatial Data Management to oversee the development and implementation of our geospatial strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through the effective management of spatial data assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive geospatial strategy to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and maintenance of spatial data assets, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and secure.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Identify opportunities to leverage geospatial technologies and innovations to enhance business outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of geospatial technologies, data analysis, and business acumen. A bachelor's degree, preferably MSc or PhD, and membership of a geospatially focused professional body (e.g., RICS, CICES, or RGS) is essential. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering business growth and improving operational efficiency, is required. The estimated salary for this position is £130,000 - £160,000 per annum, depending on experience.
