Specialist Deputy Lead Perinatal Community Mental Health

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Deputy Lead to support our Perinatal Community Mental Health Team in East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen. As a key member of the team, you will provide clinical leadership and first-line management, working closely with the Team Leader and other senior clinicians to deliver high-quality care to women with severe/complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Team Leader in ensuring that staff in the team have opportunities for continuing professional development, in order to provide best practice and meet the requirements of registering bodies.
  • To work with the Team Leader and senior clinicians to actively lead in the delivery of the clinical governance, quality improvement, and performance management agenda within an identified locality team.

Requirements:

  • Mental Health professional qualification (RMN).
  • Completion of, or commitment to working towards, Management or Leadership training.
  • Documented evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
