We are recruiting for a Deputy Team Leader to join our Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Team in East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing clinical leadership and management support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to women with perinatal mental health needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have expertise in mental health issues and current best practice in Adult Mental Health. They will also have specialist knowledge and application of mental health assessments and interventions using expert-level clinical reasoning.

We are looking for someone who can provide effective first-line management and support to the team leader, ensuring that staff have opportunities for continuing professional development and driving improvements in standards of clinical practice and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assist the team leader with first-line management for a community-based perinatal mental health team in designated geographical localities.
  • To work with the team leader and senior clinicians to deliver a high-quality and high-performing team to a defined population.
  • To support the team leader in ensuring that staff have opportunities for continuing professional development and meet the requirements of registering bodies.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a Mental Health professional qualification (RMN) and completion of or commitment to working towards Management or Leadership training. They will also have documented evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £43,041 - £56,012 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, career breaks, and access to training and development opportunities.
