About the Role

iPeople Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager to lead our Ofsted regulated children's home in Kidderminster and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the residential provision, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and organisational policies.
  • Care Quality: Maintain the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care for young people, promoting best outcomes through research, development, and partnership.
  • Strategic Leadership: Embed the organisation's strategic vision in policies, procedures, and management strategies.
  • Communication: Develop high standards of communication with social work teams, Virtual School professionals, clinicians, and other key agencies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure overall responsibility for all regulatory requirements associated with Ofsted registration and the centre's Statement of Purpose.
  • Safeguarding: Act upon and review safeguarding risks on a regular basis.
  • Educational Needs: Assess and provide for the educational needs of children in residence, liaising with educational professionals to produce Personal Education Plans.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Assess and provide for the emotional, behavioural, and health needs of children in residence, liaising with health and clinical professionals to produce individually agreed Health Action Plans.
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work: A degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant qualification is required.
  • Registered Manager Experience: Previous significant experience of holding a Registered Manager role delivering a good or outstanding judgement from Ofsted.
  • Complex Needs Experience: Experience of working with children with complex needs, including understanding of causes of behaviour and behaviour management techniques.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
Salary Information

The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. iPeople Solutions offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
