Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Priory Group. As a PBS Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering support that enables individuals to develop and improve their quality of life outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessment. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality support and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessment
  • Practice Leadership and Practice workshops
  • Incident support, analysis and colleague debrief
  • Staff training & development

Requirements

  • Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field
  • Be qualified or willing and able to work towards PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor
  • Demonstrate person-centred beliefs, values and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a leadership capacity
  • In-depth understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • History of conducting behavioural assessments and developing interventions
  • History of direct support experience with individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism
  • History of reducing the use of restrictive practices
  • History of delivering Positive Behaviour Support training
  • Excellent record-keeping and written skills
  • Detailed understanding of relevant legal frameworks and policy
