Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our Positive Behaviour Support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessments. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver Positive Behaviour Support for individuals and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Practice Leadership and Practice workshops
  • Incident support, analysis, and colleague debrief
  • Staff training and development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, such as a BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or a PBS Graduate Diploma. You will also need to be qualified or willing to work towards PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor.

In addition, you will need to demonstrate person-centred beliefs, values, and attitude, as well as excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work as part of a team in a leadership capacity, leading and influencing others positively.
