Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our Positive Behaviour Support team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessments. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver Positive Behaviour Support for individuals and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans, including Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Practice Leadership and Practice workshops
  • Incident support, analysis, and colleague debrief
  • Staff training and development
Requirements:
  • Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field
  • Be qualified or willing to work towards PROACT-SCIPr-UK Instructor
  • Demonstrate person-centred beliefs, values, and attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a leadership capacity
  • In-depth understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and Applied Behaviour Analysis
  • History of conducting behavioural assessments and developing interventions
  • History of direct support experience with individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism
  • History of reducing the use of restrictive practices
  • History of delivering Positive Behaviour Support training
  • Excellent record-keeping and written skills
  • Detailed understanding of legal frameworks and policy relevant to the role
