Job Summary:

As a Health Visitor with Hunter AHP Resourcing, you will play a vital role in supporting families and promoting healthy outcomes in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health reviews and assessments to identify individual and community needs
• Provide expert advice and guidance on breastfeeding, infant feeding, and healthy eating
• Support parents during their transition to parenthood and promote positive parenting practices
• Assess children's growth and development needs and provide targeted interventions
• Conduct health reviews, including the crucial two-year check, to ensure children are reaching developmental milestones
• Promote speech, language, and communication development in children
• Support maternal and infant mental health and provide referrals to specialist services as needed
• Advise on minor illnesses, home safety, and accident prevention to reduce the risk of harm to children

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin
• Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification
• At least 6 months NHS experience in the last 2 years
• Valid driving license and access to your own car
• Ability to meet our Framework Compliance requirements (we will guide you through this process)
