English Mentor for Students with SEMH

We are seeking an English Mentor for Students with SEMH to join our team at Aspire People. The successful candidate will work with students who require additional support to overcome SEMH and challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted support to students, focusing on their individual needs and goals
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Enhance students' emotional resilience and well-being through positive relationships and experiences
- Promote students' social and academic skills, supporting their overall development
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and empathetic approach, with a focus on building trusting relationships
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Salary:
£25,000 - £35,000 per annum
