Schools Assistant - SEMH (Estimated Salary: £28,000 per annum)

We are currently seeking an experienced Schools Assistant to work with children who have been through trauma, those with mental health and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to hold student attention and focus, as well as experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs.

Job Description:
To support children in managing their behaviours, regulating their emotions, and engaging with the school day.

Responsibilities:
  • Working in schools across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Stoke on Trent, and Newcastle under Lyme
  • Helping children who have been through trauma, those with mental health and emotional needs

Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs
  • Excellent communication skills to hold student attention and focus
