About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at a Tour Operator specialising in bespoke small group and individual tours throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and coach a team of sales advisors to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues across the business to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales management experience within the travel industry, preferably with a Tour Operator.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Knowledge of the UK and Ireland travel industry, with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs.
