Job Title: HR Business Partner

Venn Group is partnering with a leading organization in the North-East region to fill a full-time Human Resources Business Partner position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with corporate colleagues and teams to support operational services.
  2. Design and implement interventions to improve performance in areas such as absence management, recruitment and retention, appraisals, and statutory and mandatory training.
  3. Contribute to the development and delivery of the Workforce strategy and associated HR plans.
  4. Lead designated portfolios and lead working groups in areas such as absence management, recruitment and retention, and employee relations.
  5. Support and advise managers on complex change management programs.
  6. Support bid processes for further contracts and lead on TUPE transfers.
  7. Provide professional specialist HR advice, ensuring employment legislation is adhered to and procedures followed.
  8. Manage the HR team, ensuring timely delivery of HR transactional functions, including recruitment activities and management of sickness absence cases and employee relation cases.
  9. Understand learning and development needs for the region and work with the Learning and Development Lead to develop annual training plans.
  10. Support employee relation panels and undertake complex employee relation investigations.
