Regional Credit Risk Specialist

Earn an estimated annual salary of $140,000 in this role as a Regional Credit Risk Specialist at United Overseas Bank Ltd. to review Group Policy Standard, Frameworks/ Guidelines and maintain them over time to ensure that PFS Loans portfolios operate within the desired appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Group Retail Credit Policy and Process Standards.
  • Ensure regional countries operate within Group PFS Policy, Frameworks and approved Retail Risk Appetite (RRA) metrics.
  • Provide independent review and recommendation on proposed credit policies changes and related credit papers.
  • Perform independent monitoring of portfolio quality for PFS loans portfolio across countries.
  • Undertake strategic projects as part of overall Group Retail Credit and Group CPG collective agenda.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of working experience in retail credit risk management, preferably in credit risk policy, MIS and portfolio management.
  • Degree holder with background in Mathematics, Statistics, Business and Finance preferred.
  • Analytical mind with sound business acumen, highly meticulous and self-motivated.
  • Experience in Group regional role with knowledge of country business and regulatory landscape.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Powerpoint, SAS Programming, Decision Tree Segmentation Tool, SQL database and Visualization Tool.
