About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester care home in Northampton, Northamptonshire. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.

Your role will involve supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. You'll also play a crucial part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant for our residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and motivating a team of Care Assistants
  • Supporting the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans and care reviews
  • Creating a positive and supportive environment for residents

Salary Details

We offer a competitive rate of pay, including sector-leading benefits, with a salary range of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
