About The Role

Gleeds is a world-class management and construction consultancy with over 130 years of experience in the property and construction industry. We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our Leeds office, requiring a 5-day presence in the office.

The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive support in all aspects of office management, secretarial duties, and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General office administration, including stationery orders, printing, and copying.
  • Answering incoming phone calls and welcoming visitors.
  • Supporting new staff inductions and managing meeting room bookings.
  • Preparing and clearing meeting rooms for large meetings.
  • Collecting and preparing outgoing post and dealing with incoming post.
  • Liaising with outside suppliers for office consumables and ordering IT equipment.
  • Interface with the office Director regarding office matters and maintaining office consumable invoices.
  • Social Value Coordination and H&S Coordination support.
  • Support in event organization and management of premises/maintenance arrangements.
  • Other ad-hoc office duties as required.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic professional with:

  • MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficiency in all other MS Office applications.
  • Experience in a similar role (preferable).
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • A team player with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to an exceedingly high quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
