Administrative Assistant - Customer Facing

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and logistical support in our production environment near South Telford. The approximate annual salary for this role is £25,000, with standard working hours from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

In this position, you will be responsible for communicating with customers via various channels, processing orders, coordinating deliveries and collections, and upholding high standards of customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook, is crucial for success in this role. Furthermore, your ability to quickly adapt to our in-house systems will be highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Address customer inquiries via phone or email, addressing concerns related to orders, delivery issues, and aftersales support.
  • Process sales orders onto internal systems promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborate with courier and transport agencies to facilitate smooth delivery operations.
  • Oversee daily operations, incorporating customer order management, communication, and administrative functions.
  • Promote the e-commerce platform through targeted marketing initiatives and encourage customer engagement.
