As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support. This includes assisting with daily living tasks, providing personal care, and promoting independence.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team at one of our care homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, including:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Providing personal care, including administering medication
  • Promoting independence and encouraging residents to participate in activities

Salary: £20,200 - £22,500 per annum (dependent on location and experience)

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The salary will be paid monthly or bi-weekly, depending on your preference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Experience working in a care setting
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
