Millar Associates, a leading global Investment Bank, seeks an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join their Commodities Analytics team.

The role involves developing derivatives & structured products for their Commodities Desk in London, serving traders globally. Ideal candidates have a strong analytical approach, excellent communication skills, and experience with commodities or FX/Equity Derivative products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve existing derivative pricing models and implement new ones
  • Provide risk tools & reports to support trading activities
  • Create, improve models for Gas, UK/Continental / Daily gas-curve construction & marking tree
  • Maintain and improve energy/metal volatility tools
  • Deliver analytics documentation and test material
  • Offer day-to-day support to Commodity Desks (Gas, Crude, Options, Carbon Energy transition)

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in quantitative analytics, preferably covering Commodities
  • Familiarity with numerical methods, stochastic calculus, econometrics, and probability
  • Programming skills in C++, C#, Java, Python, Matlab, or R
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
  • PhD or Masters' in a Quantitative/Engineering field

Salary: Up to £260K Total + Benefits
