Millar Associates, a leading global Investment Bank, seeks an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our Commodity Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience in quantitative analytics roles, preferably with commodity product exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Derivative Pricing Models: Develop and enhance derivative pricing models to meet the evolving needs of our Commodities Desk.
  • Risk Analysis: Provide essential risk analysis tools and reports to support our trading activities.
  • Gas Curve Construction: Develop and maintain accurate gas curve construction models, including daily UK/Continental and marking tree models.
  • Volatility Analysis: Maintain and improve existing toolsuite for energy and metal volatility analysis.
  • Documentation: Deliver high-quality analytics documentation and test materials.
  • Commodity Desk Support: Offer day-to-day support to our Commodity Desks, covering Gas, Crude, Options and Carbon Energy transition.
Requirements:
  • Strong Programming Skills: Proficient in C++, C#, Java, Python, Matlab or R, along with knowledge of numerical methods, stochastic calculus, econometrics and probability.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Educational Background: PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative or engineering field.

Salary Range: £250K - £260K per annum, depending on experience.
