We're looking for a skilled Quantitative Modeller to work on our Commodities and Derivatives team at Millar Associates.

As a key member of the Commodities Analytics team, you will develop and maintain complex mathematical models to price derivatives and structured products. Your expertise will be applied across multiple asset classes, including commodities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine derivative pricing models using advanced mathematical techniques
  • Design and implement robust risk management tools and reporting systems
  • Analyse and model energy and metal market volatility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into business operations
  • Document and disseminate analytical findings and recommendations
  • Support traders and analysts with ad-hoc queries and analysis

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in quantitative modelling, ideally in a financial institution
  • Proven expertise in numerical methods, stochastic processes, and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Matlab
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, physics, or engineering

Estimated Salary: Up to £250K + Benefits (dependent on experience)
