About the Job:We are seeking a talented Junior Quantitative Researcher to join our team in London. As a member of our quantitative research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models for alpha generation.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Develop and implement quantitative models using statistical and machine learning techniques on large datasets.
- Conduct research to identify new trading opportunities and backtest trading strategies for robustness and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to enhance HFT and/or MFT strategies.
- Masters degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in alpha generation in HFT or MFT strategies.
- Strong Python programming skills; experience with NumPy and Pandas is a plus.
- Knowledge of quantitative research methods and financial markets.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
