Job Description

Millar Associates is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Commodities Expert to join their Commodities Analytics team. This individual will specialise in the development of derivatives and structured products for the Commodities Desk in London, as well as provide risk tools and reports.

About the Role:

  • Improve existing and implement new derivative pricing models for commodities such as gas, oil, and metals.
  • Provide day-to-day support to commodity desks, including Gas, Crude, Options, and Carbon Energy transition.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a quant analytics role, ideally including commodities products.
  • Strong knowledge of numerical methods, stochastic calculus, econometrics, and probability.
  • Excellent programming skills in C++, C#, or Java, as well as Python, Matlab, or R.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is £260,000 total plus benefits. Our client offers a competitive compensation package that reflects the importance of this role within the organisation.
